The Founder

Nobris is the work of Wyn Fox, a research security practitioner who spent years helping institutions navigate this landscape from the inside. He advised on foreign influence risks, evaluated international research partnerships, and watched what happens when organizations treat research security as a regulatory exercise rather than a strategic function.

The pattern was consistent across institutions of every size: capable teams, adequate compliance infrastructure, and a persistent blind spot around the judgment calls that compliance frameworks weren’t designed to make.
